REBT update
In accordance with the Resolution of January 9, 2020, of the General Directorate of Industry and Small and Medium Enterprises, the list of standards of the complementary technical instruction ITC-BT-02 of the low voltage electrotechnical regulation, approved, is updated by Royal Decree 842/2022, of August 2.
Article 26 (1) of the Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulation stipulates that the complementary technical instructions may establish the application of UNE or other internationally recognized standards, in whole or in part, in order to facilitate adaptation to the state of the art in each moment. This reference will be made, as a rule, without indicating the year of issue of the standards in question. In the corresponding complementary technical instruction, the list of all the standards mentioned in the text of the instructions, identified by their titles and numbering, will be included, which will include the year of edition.
The Spanish Association for Standardization (UNE) has approved new editions of standards contained in the list of complementary technical instruction ITC-BT-02, in addition to approving new reference standards not existing at the time of publication of this instruction, in agreement with the progress of the state of the art and / or European standards, so it has been necessary to update the list in the regulations.
